I’ve always found my way back to nature.
In the difficult seasons of life, I’ve always found myself drawn back to the outdoors. There’s something about being surrounded by growing things that helps me slow down, breathe and find my way back to myself.
Over the years, learning about plants, their medicinal uses, how they grow together, what they can teach us, has deepened that connection.The more I learn, the more I believe there is so much we can learn from the natural world.
And that’s what I want to share through Umlaut.

The most powerful things often start in the quietest way.
The charm is pressed with the actual imprint of a calendula seed, one of the most generous plants in the garden. Easy to grow, endlessly giving, beloved by bees and healers alike. A seed so small you can hold a handful in your palm, yet capable of filling an entire bed with medicine and colour.
The beads that carry it are the community. Each one individual, each one necessary, each one part of something more beautiful together than it could ever be alone.

A single flower produces over 50 seeds in varying sizes, giving them the best possible chance of travelling, landing, and returning next year. Just like the bracelet. Spreading something good, one seed at a time.

Sage is one of those plants that asks to be touched, a brush of the hand and suddenly the whole garden is alive with the senses. These sterling silver studs hold a little of that calming magic.
Each one is cast from a real sage leaf, pressed and moulded to capture the fine texture of the surface: the slight wrinkle, the fine soft veining, the petal shape that fits so naturally in the palm before it finds its way to your ear.
Worn close to the face, they’re a quiet thing, a small reminder of the garden, of aromatic herbs and morning light and the kind of calm that comes from being among plants. Made in small batches from leaves harvested from my own garden, each pair holds the imprint of a single real leaf.
